What grows in the poetry bed budding
An engineering portfolio is an odd place to keep poems. I decided that was a reason to do it rather than a reason not to.
This bed is for verse: mine, and now and then lines by someone else that I want to keep somewhere I will actually run into them again. Poems here are rarely finished, which is what the maturity badge is for — a seedling is a draft I am still arguing with.
The one technical thing worth saying is that this site holds line breaks exactly as they were typed. That matters more for verse than for anything else here, and it is the reason a poem can sit in the same place as everything else without being flattened into a paragraph.
The bed is empty as I plant this note. That is the honest state of it, and it will change.
